ROCKFORD, IOWA -- Glenn L. Meader, 82, of 1991 Glass Ave., rural Rockford, died Sunday (June 25, 1995) at the Riceville Community Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., Charles City, with the Rev. Dennis D. Niezwaag of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, with a 7 p.m. prayer service conducted by the Rev. Perry L. Brown. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. until service time on Wednesday.

Survivors include his two children, Glennis Krull of Riceville and Jerry Meader of Rockford; one brother, Merle Meader, Rockford; one sister, Mildred McElroy of Rockford; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother and one sister.
