ROCKFORD, IOWA -- Funeral services for Mrs. E. H. Burnett, 82, who died at her home here Monday morning, were held at the home Wednesday, in the charge of Rev. Charles Fort, pastor of the Methodist church.

She was born at Bridgeport and moved to Cascade with her parents when she was four years old. Later her family moved to Farley, where they lived for a number of years, before moving to Maquoketa.

Mrs. Burnett, before her illness, was an active member of the Rockford Woman's club and is a member of Fidelity chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She was active for many years in church and Sunday school work.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. E. H. Burnett, and one son, Judson, of Havre, Montana; one sister, Mrs. J. H. Smith, California; and one brother, Sam Gibson, Maquoketa.

Pallbearers for the funeral were Herman Brineken, I. H. Benson, Vern Mosher, and Henry Smith, Mrs. Vern Mosher, accompanied by Jean Munshower, sang.
