CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in; St. John's Lutheran Church here
or Carl I. Lofgren, 72,:who died of a heart attack in a hospital here Saturday; burial in RIverside Cemetery with military graveside rites by the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and World War I Veterans; Grossman-Hage funeral home in charge.

Survivors include his wife, Amelia; a brother, Henry, Santa Rosa, California; five sisters, Mrs. Gustave Person and Miss Helen Lofgren, both of St. Petersburg, Florida, Mrs. Myrtle Malmstron, Harwood Heights, Illinois., Mrs. Margaret Betterlund, Chicago, and Mrs. Lawrence Larson, Richfield, Minnesota.
