Jane JANSSEN 1880-1963
CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p. m. at St. John Lutheran Church for Mrs. Jane Janssen, 83, longtime resident of the Floyd area, who died Monday night at the Osage nursing home, where she had been a patient for the past 2 1/2 years. Death resulted from a series of cerebral hemorrhages. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery.
She was born in Germany on April 1, 1880, and came to this country when a small child.
Jane is survived by five daughters and one son, Mrs. Emmett Nauman and Bernard Janssen, both of the Floyd area; Mrs. Bertha Kraft, Ionia; Mrs. Walter Sheffner, Bassett; Mrs. Jennie Bouillion, Nashua, and Mrs. Ida McNeeley, Rockwell; and 44 grandchildren.
Her husband died in 1942.
The Hauser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
