CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Oren E. Smith, former Charles City resident, died in his apartment at
Richmond, Virginia.

He was a brother of Mrs. George Gallon, rural Charles City, and Fran Smith, rural Osage. Several nieces and nephews in the area also survive.

Mr. Smith taught school in Iowa during his early life and later at Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Funeral services and burial were in Richmond.
