Loretta Mae Sweet Garber

CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Loretta Garber, 58, died Thursday (Sept. 7, 1995) at the Ninth St. Chautauqua Guest Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hauser Funeral Home with the Rev. John Bissett of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Marble Rock. Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. today and will continue from 9 a.m. until service time on Saturday.

Loretta Mae Sweet Garber was born May 7, 1937, in Iowa City.

Survivors include four sons, Dale Garber of Estherville, Dennis Garber of Mason City, Douglas Garber of New Hampton, and David Garber of Denver, Colo.; one daughter, Linda Garber of Ohio; and one sister, Ruth Bankston of Fort Worth, Texas; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister.
