CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Carrie L. Short, 97, of the 9th St. Chautauqua Guest Home, formerly of 701 B St., died Tuesday (Feb. 11, 1997) at Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., with the Rev. Jack Ivey of First Congregational Church officiating. Burial will be in the New Hampton Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. Friday until time of services at the funeral home.

Carrie L. Short was born September 12, 1899, in Chickasaw County, Iowa.

Survivors include many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
