CHARLES CITY, IOWA - J. Pauline Schmer, age 90, of 804 N. Illinois Street, Charles City, died Friday (March 28, 1997) at the Evans Memorial Rest Home in Cresco.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., Charles City, with the Rev. J. Larry Vallery of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Charles City, officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Charles City, Floyd county, Iowa.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Schmer, the former Julia Pauline Hoopman, was born, Sept. 8, 1906, in Chester.
Living family members include a brother, George Hoopman of Fond du Lac, Wisc..
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters, and one brother.
