CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Ruth M. George, 81, of 1515 Clark St., died Monday (Jan. 27, 1997) at Brownsdale, Minnesota.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., with the Rev. J. Larry Vallery of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until time of services on Thursday.

Ruth Marie Helena Runtzel George was born Nov. 1, 1915, in Rockford.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis George, Whitehouse, Tenn., and Bill George, Clovis, Calif.; one daughter, Judy Reinke, Brownsdale, Minn.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Iona Burlile, Norwalk, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one grandson.
