CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Mary Anne Pfow, 82, a resident of 1705 Missouri, Charles City, died Sunday (Jan. 12, 1997) at her residence.

Celebration of the funeral Mass for Anne Pfow will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Charles City, with the Rev. Walter L. Brunkan officiating. Entombment will be held at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Clarksburg, West Virginia. The Davis Funeral Home of Clarksburg will be in charge of arrangements in Clarksburg.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City, where rosary will be recited by the St. Mary's Circle at 3 p.m., and a parish Scripture service will be held at 7 p.m. On Wednesday, friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church.

The family suggests memorials be directed to Heart to Home Hospice or to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Mary Ann Pfow was born on February 19, 1915, in Mason City, Iowa.

Survivors include two brothers, Anton and Donna Schmall of Charles City, and Dr. Leo and June Schmall of Marion; one sister, Rosa Anderson of Bancroft; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
