MARBLE ROCK, IOWA — Marjorie Heft, 86, of Marble Rock, died Friday (April 15, 2005) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Marble Rock, with the Rev. Kenneth Kent officiating. Inurnment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Marble Rock.
A gathering of friends and family will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Reid's Funeral Chapel, 423 Bradford St., Marble Rock.
Those planning an expression of sympathy may direct memorials to Hospice of North Iowa in care of the family.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Reid's Funeral Chapel, 423 Bradford Street, Marble Rock.
Marjorie Clark was born May 2, 1918, at Villard, Minn., a daughter of Nathan and Jennie Bell (Kreider) Clark, and died Friday (April 15, 2005, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City. She received her education in the Villard schools, graduating in 1936.
On May 3,1938 she was united in marriage to Kenneth J. Heft in Mason City. They farmed in the Dougherty and Marble Rock area until his death on December 16,1978. The following year she moved into town.
Marjorie was a member of the Marble Rock United Methodist Church. Her interests included collecting lamps and Hummel figurines.
Living family members include her daughter, Pat (William) Tarr of Clear Lake, two sons, Robert (Kathleen) Heft of Malwaukee, Wis., Richard (Vickie) Heft of Cedar Rapids; seven grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Lila LeCount of Wadena, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth J. Heft; grandson, Terrance Heft; parents; one sister, Mary Gerdes; and two brothers, Lloyd Clark and George Clark.
Those planning an expression of sympathy may direct memorials to Hospice of North Iowa in care of the family.
