CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Jesse “Jake” Venz, 89, of 1115 160th St., Charles City, died Tuesday (Jan. 20, 2004) at his home.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St. in Charles City, with the Rev. David Werges, pastor at Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carroll Cemetery, Bassett.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Hauser Funeral Home and an hour prior to the service on Friday.
