ROCKFORD, IOWA - Raymond C. Leider, 81, of Rockford, died Sunday morning, December 7, 2003, at his home.

Services will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. at Sunnyside Chapel, Charles City, with Rev. A. C. Wegner, officiating. Military rites will be conducted by The Charles City Ceremonial Unit, burial will be in Sunnyside Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, December 9, 2003, at Sunnyside Chapel Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service.

Raymond was born the son of Frank and Minnie "Barth" Leider on August 3, 1922 at Roseville, Iowa.

Mr. Leider served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and on November 6, 1948, he was united in marriage to Gladys Willsher at Albert Lea, Minn. Raymond was a farmer and also worked at Jacob E. Decker Co. for 26 years.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys; four sons: Jim (Sally) of Mason City, Joe of Rockford, John (JoElla) of Rockford, and Larry of Mason City; one daughter Judy (Michael) Parker of Rockford; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Bernadene Reams.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Sunnyside Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
