HAUT, WEIBRAND, SINNWELL

NASHUA, IOWA - Larry H. Haut, 54 of Nashua passed away on Friday, September 26, 2003 at Ninth Street Chautauqua Guest Home in Charles City, Floyd county, Iowa.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, September 29, 2003 at St. John Lutheran Church in Nashua with burial in Sunnyside Memory Gardens, rural Charles City. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.

Larry was born Oct. 13, 1948 in Charles City, the son of Herbert E. and Wilma (Weibrand) Haut. He graduated from Nashua High School in 1966. He was united in marriage to Linda L. Sinnwell at St. John Lutheran Church on June 4, 1967. To this union two children were born.

Larry was a drill operator for nine years at the Oliver Corp. in Charles City and worked for Campell's Garage for three years before opening Larry's Repair in Nashua where he was a mechanic for 20 years. He also served as EMT and Crew Chief for the Chickasaw County Ambulance Service for 10 years.

He was an avid farm toy collector, Nascar collector and Bill Elliott fan. He enjoyed his children and grandchildren and was always ready to do a little teasing.

Larry is survived by his wife, Linda; one son: Ken (Cathy) of Plainfield; one daughter: JoAnne (Brian) Wihlm of Osage; five grandchildren: Jacob and Nathan Wihlm, and Taylor, Kennedy and Tanner Haut; and one sister: Gladice Tidemanson of Charles City.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Haut in 2001; his mother, Wilma (Weibrand) Haut in 1960; and one sister, Mary Anne Haut in 1960.

Hugeback and Chenoweth Funeral Home of Nashua is in charge of arrangements.
