Maxine Cox Olin passed away, in Brookings, S.D., on Aug. 22, 2002, after a lengthy illness. She was a former resident of Charles City, Waterloo and Minneapolis, Minn.

She is survived by one brother, Ira Howard Jr. and his wife of Miller, S.D.; three nieces: Jean (Dale) Groesbeck of Charles City, Judy (Tom) Courtney and Joanne (Jersey) Jermier of McKinney, Texas; two nephews, Richard (Jane) Howard of Brookings, S.D. and Terry (Marsha) Howard of Miller, S.D.; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Cox, and her second husband, Charles Olin, five sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held Sept. 7, 2002, at 10:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Charles City. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
