MARBLE ROCK - Memorial services for Glenn W. Mulnix, 52, of 521 College St., Marble Rock, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Reid's Funeral Chapel in Marble Rock with inurnment in the Westside Cemetery in Marble Rock. There will be no visitation.

Glenn W. Mulnix was born May 2, 1947 in Long Beach, Calif., the son of Robert D. and Mildred A. (Westbrook) Mulnix and died Monday (Jan. 31, 2000) at the Ninth Street Chautauqua Guest Home in Charles City of complications of Huntington's Disease.

He received his education at the Paramount High School graduating in 1965. During his youth he was very active in the Boy Scouts. As a young man he began working as a forklift operator for a chemical company in South Gate, Calif. until 1978 when he moved to Marble Rock. He was employed for Tom and Bernie's Market in Marble Rock and later worked part time for the City of Marble Rock.

Glenn enjoyed being in the outdoors. Growing up he enjoyed going on vacation trips with his family and camping. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and taking care of animals.

Living family members include his father, Robert D. Mulnix; and his sister, Jennifer Foutts, both of Beaverton, Ore.

He was preceded in death by his mother in January of 1973; and his brother, Robert, in June of 1995, both of the same affliction.

Memorials may be directed to the Glenn W. Mulnix Memorial Fund in care of the family at 6601 S.W. 15th Ave., Beaverton, Calif. 97007.

MARBLE ROCK, Iowa - Glen W. Mulnix, 52, of Marble Rock, Floyd county, Iowa, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at the Ninth Street Chautauqua Guest Home in Charles City, Floyd county, Iowa, of complications of Huntington's Disease.

Funeral services will be held today, Friday, Feb. 4, at 1:30 p.m. at Reid's Funeral Chapel in Marble Rock. Inurnment will be in the Westside Cemetery in Marble Rock.

There will be no visitation.
