CHARLES CITY — Viola ‘Ole’ Staebler, 86, died Saturday (Jan. 10, 1998) at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., with the Rev. Curt Schnieder, of Messiah Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Those considering an expression of sympathy may direct memorials to Hospice of North Iowa, Charles City Satellite.

Viola ‘Ole" Staebler was born on Nov. 13, 1911, in Elkader, Iowa.

She is survived by many neighbors and friends who treasured her acquaintance, including Carl and Avonell Ross and their family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and several half brothers and sisters.
