Joseph Jenkins, 65, of Charles City, Floyd county, Iowa, died on Monday, July 11, 2005, at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital in Charles City.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City, from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday. Visitation will continue at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Joseph Henry Jenkins was born May 25, 1940, at Charles City, the son of Felix and Florence (Brooks) Jenkins. He was raised and educated in Charles City and graduated from Charles City High School. He worked for Oliver/White Farm Equipment Company since 1959.

Following his employment there he worked for Featherlite for four years. Joseph enjoyed watching TV and playing cards. He especially loved going to Dave’s every afternoon for coffee with the guys.

Living relatives include two daughters, Elizabeth Jenkins, Charles City, and Jeanette Jenkins and special friend Brooke Wakeley, Seattle, WA; three grandchildren, Ayla Perry, Taya Perry, and Sacoya Jenkins, all of Charles City.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jerold; and one nephew, Timothy Jenkins
