Eric Santee, 35 of Mankato, Minnesota, and formerly of Charles City, Nashua and Clear Lake, Iowa, died on Monday, September 20, 2004, as the result of an automobile accident.

Funeral services for Eric Santee will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Charles City. Burial will be in Riverton Cemetery, rural Nashua.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.

Eric Bryant Santee was born August 25, 1969, at Charles City, the son of Max and Frances (Overturf) Santee. He graduated from Nashua High School in 1987 where he was an active weight lifter and played football. Eric graduated from NIACC in 1989 with an Electronic Technician degree.

On April 29, 1989, Eric was united in marriage to Terri Jacobson at the United Methodist Church in Nashua. They renewed their vows for their 15th Anniversary on May 1, 2004 in Clear Lake. Eric worked for Farmland Industries for over 13 years and most recently for Enterprise Products. He enjoyed riding his Harley, spending time with his wife Terri and their dog Bear. Eric also was a big Iowa Hawkeye fan.

Living family members include his wife, Terri of Mankato, MN; parents, Max and Frances Santee of Nashua; two brothers, Scott (Nona) Santee of Old Hickory, TN, and Monte (Lisa) Santee of Albert Lea, MN; a sister, Angela (John) Marvin of Charles City; his father-in-law, Edward Jacobson of Charles City; a sister-in-law, Jody Jacobson of Charles City; two brothers-in-law, Kevin Jacobson and Randy (Andrea) Jacobson both of Mason City; a niece; nephews and cousins.

Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents and mother-in-law.
