Charles City, IA 50616Kody S. Chodur, 23, of Charles City, died Thursday, May 10, 2007, at the Floyd County Hospital in Charles City.
Pastor David Werges and Pastor Dennis Niezwaag will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date.
Kody Scott Chodur was born January 2, 1984, at Charles City, the son of Michael and DanDi (Menholt) Chodur. He attended school in Glenwood, Colorado and Lake Mills, Iowa. Before moving to Charles City, Kody was employed for several years at the Red River drilling company. His interests included skate boarding, snow boarding, mountain bike riding, dirt biking, music, his car, and spending time with his Grandparents.
Kody will always be remembered as a good worker and excellent with children.
Living family members include his father, Michael Chodur of Charles City; his mother, DanDi Menholt of Parachute, Colo.; paternal grandparents, Donald and Gloria Chodur of Kensett; maternal grandfather, Bob Menholt of Lawrence, Mich.; Aunts and Uncles including, Marjorie (Harry B.) Ross of Garner, Richard (Rhonda) Chodur of Kensett; Larry (Ellen) Chodur of Rudd, Karen (Reverend Lewis) Thompson of Osseo, Wis., Joan (Troy) McCormick of Mason City, Tami (Christopher) Thilges of La Cross, Wis., Debbie Suhr of Waunakee, Wis., Darci Hoehdner of Lawrence, Mich., and Dustin Menholt of Lawrence, Mich.; many cousins; and a good friend, Robert Gower.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Pearl Menholt; and his sister, Ashley Chodur on September 15, 2001.
