HELENA, MONTANA — Verle Laverne Rademacher, 71, of Helena, Montana, and formerly of Floyd, Floyd county, Iowa, died on August 12, 2008, at the Cooney Convalescent Home from Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases.

Funeral services were held on August 17, 2008 at the Yoked Parish Church in White Sulphur Springs, Montana. Interment was at Mayn Cemetery.

A longtime newspaper man, avid hunter and outdoorsman, Verle was a member of the Floyd High School graduating class of 1954 and married his high school sweetheart, Patricia Miner.

Memorials may be made to Montana Ducks Unlimited, Don Babcock, PO Box P, WSS, MT 59645; or to Shrine Hospital in Spokane, Wash.
