Mrs. Albert Gates received a telegram Monday morning, stating that Mrs. Stella Baltimore passed away Sunday at her home in Gridley, Calif. Mrs. Baltimore was 80 years of age last August.

Before her marriage she was Stella Paddleford. Mrs. Baltimore was for many years a highly respected resident of Marble Rock. Her husband, John Baltimore, died many years ago. He was a brother to the late Mesdames Buckleu, Beeler, Ackley, and Sarah Vorhes, and of Mrs. Louisa Vorhes, now living on College St.,of this place.

Mrs. Baltimore and family went to California several years ago. She is survived by her
daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Osborn, of Gridley, Calif., her sons, Charles of Gridley; Thursson, of Oak Dale, Calif.; Philip of Marble Rock, besides other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Philip Baltimore have been spending several weeks there, but had left for a few days before his mother’s death for a visit at Long Beach.

Following the funeral services held at Gridley, Wednesday, the body was taken to Sacramento, where it was cremated, and later the remains will be brought to Marble Rock and buried beside her husband in the Hill Side Cemetery.
