LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF TILLIE E. LOHR OF
NORA SPRINGS, IOWA.
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PERSENTS:That I, Tillie E. Lohr, of Nora Springs, Iowa, being of full age and of sound mind, do hereby make, publish and declare this instrument to be my last will and testament, that is to say:-
First: It is my will and pleasure that all of my just debts, including the expense of my last sickness, and funeral expenses, be first paid, including the expenses of erecting and placing at the head of my grave, a stone, a maker of the same kind and like the stone marker at the head of my deceased husband's grave in Park Cemetery, Nora Springs, Iowa.
Second: That upon my death, I direct that my body be buried by the side of my husband George J. Lohr, in Park Cemetery, Nora Springs, Iowa.
Third: That upon my death, I direct and it is my desire, that in case I should be become disabled, mentally and unable to properly look after my property and person, on account of any physical disability, then, in that case, the person who looks after me, and my property and protects my interests while in such condition, and with whom I make my home while in such condition, shall be allowed all expenses incurred in such work, and taking care of me, and in addition to such expenses, shall have the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) to be first paid from my estate.
Fourth: All of the remaining property which I may have upon my death shall be held in trust for the use and benefit of my Son, Glen Lohr,he to have the income of said property as long as he
lives; that the executor of this will shall convert all of my property into money, and invest the proceeds into first mortgage loans on Iowa land, drawing not less than five and one-half percent interest, and the income thereof paid annually to my son Glen G. Lohr; that upon the death of Glen G. Lohr, the income shall be paid to his widow if living, for the use and benefit of any children of the said Glen G. Lohr. until said children are twenty-five years of age, at which time the trustee of this fund shall pay it to the children of Glen G. Lohr.That in case my son dies leaving no children then I direct that the income of my property be
paid to to his widow for support,as long as she is unmarried, and remains the unmarried widow of my son Glen G. Lohr, and I direct that all of my said property shall vest as provided by law, in case my sons dies without children living and attaining the age hereto mentioned, and providing that no widow survives my son as heretofore provided.
Fifth: That in case of the death of my son Glen G. Lohr, before he is married, or shall die unmarried, I direct that he be buried in the family lot in Park Cemetery, Nora Springs, Iowa, and I direct that the expenses thereof be paid out of my estate, together with the expenses of a stone marker and of like quality and design, as marks the grave of my deceased husband.
Sixth: I further direct that Edward C. Schmidt, of Oskaloosa, Iowa, be and he is hereby appointed Executor of this my last will and testament, and that he be relieved of giving only a nomimal bond not to exceed $10,000.00;
and I further direct that he shall see that any and all of the provisions of this will shall be fully carried out.
