Divorce of Dalton and Opal Melugin, Sept 1929

In the Waterloo courts recently a decree of divorce was granted to Mrs. Dalton Melugin from Dalton Melugin, of Marble Rock, also the use of her maiden name, Opal Honaker. She was a teacher in the marble Rock schools and married Mr. Melugin in May. Their friends were shocked to hear of their separation in July as Mr. Melugin, who has spent all of his life here, is known to be an exemplary young man. The decree was granted on the usual plea of “cruel and inhuman treatment.”
