Florence E. “Peggy” Clark, 97, of Oelwein, Iowa, died Sunday morning, June 16, 2024, at MercyOne Oelwein Medical Center in Oelwein.

Florence Elizabeth Pfister was born December 19, 1926, in Postville, Iowa, the daughter of Ernest and Martha Marie (Scheel) Pfister. In 1944, she graduated from Fayette High School. She was employed for many years at Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed Bingo, and her cat Callie.

Florence is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers: Lawrence Pfister, Glen Pfister and Ernest Pfister; and 4 sisters: Frieda Nelson, Clara Mae Pook, Augusta Earle and Betty Bliss.

Private burial will take place at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in rural Oelwein.

Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein is assisting the family.
