Elgin -- Elizabeth L. Moore, 69, of Elgin, died Wednesday, March 13, at Palmer Lutheran Health Center, West Union, after a lengthy illness; survivors include four sons, Melvin of Colorado Springs, Colo., Dale of Elgin, Wilmer of Peoria, Ill., and Eugene of Elkader; two daughters, Marion Knobloch of Buffalo, Ill., and Karla Moore of Colorado Springs, her mother Marie Butikofer of West Union; 14 grandchildren; six brothers, Harry, Paul, Bert and Albert, all of Elgin, Reuben Butikofer of Clermont, and William of Gridley, Ill.; and two sisters, Ruth Wiegand of Kempton, Ill., and Shirley Nester of Rock Rapids; she was preceded in death by her husband, Werner in 1965; her father, Albert Butikoper; a sister, Anna Butikoper; and a son Elmer in 1951; service will be 10 a.m. Saturday ay Apostolic Christian Church, Elgin, with burial in the church cemetery; friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at Muehlethaler Funeral Home, Elgin.
