Ambrose McGaheran died at his home Sunday afternoon, May 27, 1906, after a lingering illness of nearly one year. The funeral will occur at Clermont to-day (Wednesday). A large concourse of people will attend the funeral to pay their last respects to one of the most popular young men in the country, who passed away in the prime of life and who until the last year had a prospect of a long and happy life. Ambrose was of a cheerful and happy disposition and always had a pleasant word for everyone he met, and leaves a host of friends who deeply sympathize with the bereaved friends in their great loss. Many friends from a distance came to attend the funeral.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1868 and is buried in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Clermont.
