Dropped Dead.
West Union Argo:—Wm. Henry Steffens, of Eldorado, aged 72, died last Friday of heart disease. He was sitting at home with his family and some friends, chatting and laughing and having a social time and in ten minutes was dead, falling from his chair and never moving a muscle after the fatal stroke. Deceased came to this county in 1853, settling in Winnesheik county and removing to Eldorado about six years ago. He was a man of some means. A widow survives him. Funeral services, very largely attended, were held in the German church in Eldorado Monday forenoon.
