Michael McGahran died of consumption at the residence of Thos. Barrett, last Thursday. The funeral occurred Saturday of Clermont. Mr. McGahran had been a patient sufferer with the disease from which he died, for about two years. Through all his sickness he was cheerful and did all he could to make it pleasant for all who so kindly ministered to his wants. He had a multitude of friends many of whom came long distances to attend the funeral. The grief stricken friends have the sympathy of the entire community.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows the name spelled McGaheran. He was born Jan. 25, 1859 and died Feb. 7, 1895. He is buried in St. Peters Cemetery in Clermont.
