Shot his Wife by Accident.
On Wednesday morning last Leonard Engles living six miles west of Waucoma, was examining his double barrel shotgun preparatory to going out hunting with some neighbors and in some manner the shell became lodged. In endeavoring to draw it out the hammer of the gun was struck, discharging the gun. His wife sat near the stove at the time preparing one of her little girls for school and the charge entered her side killing her instantly. The girl was uninjured. Mrs. Engles was 40 years of age and leaves three small children.
