YOUMANS.Franklin Monroe Youmans died at his home near Auburn Friday, March 28th, 1902 at 12, m. Funeral services were held at the house, Sunday, March 30th. Rev. Rice officiating.
Mr. Youmans was born in Coolington, Tioga Co. Penn. May 28th, 1853. At the age of 16 months, his parents removed to Green Co. Wis., from there to Fayette Co., Iowa where he has since resided. He was married Dec. 7, 1880 to Amelia Erler of Lawler, Iowa. Four children came to bless the union, Sadie, Bertha, Hazel and Florence. These with the beloved wife, his father and mother and two sisters are to mourn. Mr. Youmans was a member of the Methodist church.
Death has taken from us a good neighbor, a kind friend and a loving father and son. All feel that they can ill afford the loss; yet bow to the will of that Father who was the stay and solaf of the beloved. Interment was made in the West Union cemetery.
