Some Notable Deaths.
On Tuesday morning, Dec. 1st, Mrs. A. M. Smith died at the home of her daughter in Fayette, aged 85 years past. She was the widow of one of the pioneer ministers of the M. E. church. Born in northern New York, married in 1837, after twenty years in Black River (N, Y.) Conference they came west and joined the U. I. Conference, and served his church in it until his death in 1891. He was located most of the time in southerly and central parts of the Conference.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this is Roxanna who is buried in Grandview Cemetery and was born July 2, 1818.
