Isaac Kelsey, Aged 101.
West Union Argo:—As announced last week, the funeral services of Isaac Kelsey were held last Thursday morning at the home of George Kelley, in Growler's Gulch. Mr. Kelsey was born in Canada, Dec. 11, 1801, being 101 years, 4 months and 23 days old when he died. When a young man he came to the United States and in 1858 was married to Miss Lorena Coonrod, making his home, until recently in Clayton county, Iowa. Four daughters were born to them, three of whom are now living in Fayette county. Mr. Kelsey had been for years a member of the U. B. church.
