An Unusual Mortality.
West Union Argo:—Amos White, Joe Gardner and Mrs. Mary Carter all lie dead at their respective homes in this city. Mr. White was 73 years of age and had lived here fifty years. Mr. Gardner was 63 and had been a resident of West Union almost if not yuite{sic} a half century. Mrs. Carter was nearly 74 years of age and had been a resident of West Union since 1875.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows Mrs. Carter was born in 1831 and died September 22, 1904. She is buried in West Union Cemetery.
