Found Dead in Bed.
Al. Tibbits, a well-known character about town, and well-known in Fayette county, was found dead in the building where he roomed at Sumner, about two o’clock Sunday afternoon. It is supposed he died sometime during Saturday night. He had been drinking quite heavily all day Saturday and up to quite late Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon one of his boon companions went to call on him and found him dead. A coroner’s inquest was held Sunday night, and the verdict was that death was due to heart failure caused by too much drink.
