Suicide at West Union.
Albert R. Hupp, a young man aged about 24 years, committed suicide last Sunday afternoon at the home of his wife’s parents. He left seven letters to as many different persons, that indicated it was a deliberately intended act. He was a soldier in the Philippine Islands, and a respectable young man and no cause for his act is known, save that probably prospects looked dark to him because of the illness of a young wife who had consumptive tendencies.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in the West Union Cemetery and was born in 1882.
