The death of Henry H. Homewood, aged 51 years, occurred Saturday evening at his home three miles west of town, after two weeks suffering with Bright's Disease. He was born in Winnebago county, Ill., grew to manhood on a farm near Fayette and came to the farm near here five years ago. He was united in marriage to Miss Minnie Earle, of Fayette county. To this union were born four children, three daughters and one son, Miss Amy of Waterloo, and the Misses Katherine and Henrietta and Richard, still at home. A prayer was held at the home, Tuesday morning, by Rev. C. J. Rose, after which the remains were taken to Fayette, where funeral services were held in the M.E. Church, interment being made in the Fayette cemetery.
