DIED.

DAVIS—At Delaware Center, Iowa, July 11,1887, Mrs. Sarah Davis, aged 75 years, 1 month and 7 days.

Mrs. Davis was well known in West Union, having lived here since 1854, and here her body was brought for interment Tuesday, beside the grave of her husband, Lewis, who died in 1865. Mrs, Davis was the mother of 15 children, but three of whom survive her, viz: Mrs. D.L. Doolittle, of this place, Mrs. Moore, of Delaware, and David W. Davis, of New Richmond, Wis. She had two sons and two step sons in the army.
