FORMER COUNTY AUDITOR DIES.

Frank M. Spears, Auditor of Fayette county from 1882 to 1885 died at his home in Duluth, last week, after a long illness from cancer. The body reached here Thursday evening accompanied by the widow and Comrade Wilkinson, of the G. A. R. Post of the Zenith City. The body was met at the train by the county officers and Abernethy Post and interment took place at once beside the body of his baby in the city cemetery. His two brothers, Charles and Hart, and his two sisters, Mrs. Winegar and Mrs. Gillett, were present, besides a large attendance of old soldiers.
