CLARK.

At the Grand Hotel, early Monday morning, Jul 20, 1903, of cancer of the stomach, Peter Clark, aged 74 years. He was born in Canada but has lived in Austin for the past tenor twelve years. He was a very congenial friend and to one who made his acquaintance here greatly enjoyed his companionship. He leaves one son, Frank Jones of Joplin, Mo. He was an uncle of Sam Jones and Mrs. William A. Cook of Austin. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the residence of Mrs. Cook on Chatham street and the remains were taken to West Union, Iowa, where Mrs. Jones is buried.
