A Beautiful Life Gone. -- Miss Josephine Lehman died at the home of Rev. F.E. Brooke after a short illness of blood poisoning. Death came at 3 o'clock Monday morning.
The deceased has for the past year been connected with the Bell clothing house, having come to this city from Elgin, Iowa. Death was unexpected as she had been enjoying the best of health up to last Friday when she was taken sick. As the hours passed by she gradually became worse and at noon Sunday lapsed into unconsciousness, from which she did not revive. The remains were taken to her former home at Elgin Monday morning and were accompanied by her friend, Miss Jennie Beason. A mother, father, two sisters and a brother are left to mourn the very sad loss. She had a large number of friends gained since coming to this city who will be deeply pained at the knowledge of the untimely death.
Miss Lehman was born in Elgin, Iowa, July 9, 1878, where she received her education. She came to this city a year ago last April and has ever since been in the employment of the Bell Clothing company. During her sojourn in this city Miss Lehman roomed at the home of Rev. Brooke and was well liked by them as well as by all with whom she became acquainted.
