ROLF DIETER BUSCHHAUS.

Rolf, age 83, of Waukesha, died at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born the only child to Walter & Ella (nee: Staas) Buschhaus. In 1954 Rolf moved to the United States. Three years later, he married Janet Ritchie in West Union, IA. Very early in Rolf's life, he acquired a love of travel which never diminished.

For more than 20 years he worked as an electrical engineer for Allis-Chalmers, traveling the world meeting new people. He also was a great lover of music, nature and his family. After retiring in the early 1990's, Rolf continued traveling. Most frequently to Port Orange, FL and enjoyed watching the space shuttle launches and soaking up the sun.

Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Janet Buschhaus (nee Ritchie); daughter Ann Buschhaus (Alan Ries), a son, Karl (Rosemary) Buschhaus, grandchildren: Anke and Soren Ries-Buschhaus; Octavia, Kenneth, Roland and Torsten Buschhaus other family and many friends.
