LOCAL and OTHER ITEMS.

ROBERT BURRETT, father of A.R., P.N., and N.H., died Saturday, March 22, 1884, after a long illness. He was born in Pigeon township Canada E. in 1812, and came to the States when he was 17. During the last war he was employed in the fort at Plattsburg. His funeral was held Monday at the Catholic church, Father Burns officiating. In this connection his family desires that we express their thanks to those citizens and G.A.R. comrades who rendered such kindly assistance.
