Edna Geneva Halverson was born November 18th 1915 near Eldorado, IA To Maude & Elmer, The family grew to 3 girls and 4 boys. They enjoyed their close knit family and farm life. She attended school in Alpha, Calmar and Hawkeye.

She married Del Beermann on November 30th, 1934. This marriage produced 4 sons. They did not move around a lot. They started marriage at 321 S. Vine, moved to a farm west of town and then back to 340 s. Vine.

Edna enjoyed people, whether working in a store or her varied Church or volunteer work. We have found that when people talk of Edna they remember her friendliness and smile and her real interest in them.
