Max Gruver, formerly of West Union, died of tuberculosis at Bay City, Wis., Jan. 31, 1919. Had the deceased lived until May he would have been 30 years old.
Mr. Gruver attended school in West Union and has a number of relatives in the community. He is a nephew of Fred and Etta Gruver and Mrs. A. E. Miller. His parents live at Brainard. He leaves a wife and three children.
Mr. Miller, a sister, a brother and the mother went to Wisconsin to the funeral.
