RITES CONDUCTED FOR WAUCOMA RESIDENT
WAUCOMA -- Frederick F.E. Altmann, 55, died Saturday, Nov 1, at St. Joseph's hospital, New Hampton, following a lingering illness. His funeral was held Tuesday, Nov 4, in St. Mary;s Catholic church in Waucoma. Rev. C.E. Drummy officiated at the Requiem Mass. Burial in Waucoma cemetery. The Larkin-Martin Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were Hugo Dietzenbach, Ed Winter, Earl Tessmer, William Gage, Francis Bouska and Konrad Veristeffen.
Frederick Altmann was born Aug. 8, 1914, on the farm east of Waucoma where he spent his entire lifetime. He was the son of Joseph and Isabella (Rullhausen) Altmann. He was educated in the Waucoma Schools.
He was married to Margarete Pichler, Bavaria, Germany.
He is survived by his wife, two sisters, Mrs. Leonard Globus, Beverly Hills, Calif, and Mrs. Victor LeDoux, Oklahoma City, Okla. and two aunts in Illinois, an aunt in California, and an aunt in Germany.
He was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. He was a farmer and lived on the
home farm all his life.
