Former Resident
Dies In Duluth.

Final rites for Charles W. Paige, 52, who died last week in a Duluth, Minn, hospital after surgery were conducted at 2 p. m. Monday from the Burnham Funeral home. Interment was in West
Union cemetery.

Charles William Paige,son of B. Franklin and Caroline Anderson Paige, was born on a farm near West Union June 26, 1900. He attended school in West Union, and was married "to Leonia Fluegel Sept. 13, 1921.

Mr. Paige followed the occupation of painter and interior decorator in Minneapolis, West Union, Waukon, Decorah and for the last 11 years at Waterloo, where he resided at 1100 Upton Ave.

Being in failing health, he went to Duluth for relief, but died there Aug. 27 from a brain tumor.

He is survived by his wife, two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Pettlon, Manchester, and Mrs. Edna North, Waterloo, and a brother, Orville Paige, West Union, several nieces and nephews.
