Randalia.

Electa Judith Proctor was born March 1, 1847, at Twinsburg, Summit Co., Ohio. About the year 1853 she, with her parents, moved to this State and located in Westfield township where she resided until April 12, 1868, when she was married to Wm. A. Bratt. Since that time she has been a resident of Center Township up to the time of her death, which occurred the evening of Nov. 9, 1897. She leaves a mother, brother, husband and four children to mourn her loss, besides a host of friends and relatives.

She has been a member of the Baptist church since Oct. 27, 1977' has always been a good Christian worker, was a kind and loving mother and was always ready and willing to help those in need. She had been a great sufferer for the past two or three years and it was her wish to go home when she was called, where pain and suffering are no more. Rev. Kent, of Fayette, delivered the funeral sermon, taken from the text found in Ruth 1, 16,17, followed by funeral rites of the W.R.C., after which the remains were taken to their last resting place in Dunham's Grove cemetery. We would not call her back if we could, for she has gone to a better and happier land. but should so live as to be able to meet her there when we are called to depart from this life.
