LAST RITES TO BE HELD AT BETHANY CHURCH CHURCH ON FRIDAY.

Funeral Services for Lars K. Osmundson, who died Wednesday, will be here at the Bethany church Friday at 2 p.m. Rev. E.L. Reisem, pastor, will officiate. Louis Schutte Funeral home will have charge of the service.

Lars Osmundson, was born Aug. 4, 1868 in Dover Township, Fayette county, and spent his entire life in farming here. He was L. Osmundson the son of Knut & Lena (Houge) Osmundson, and both of his parents were born in Norway.

He was married on May 28, 1892, and with Mrs. Osmundson marked 50th wedding anniversary this spring.

Twelve children survive their father. They include, Leonard, West Union: Mrs. Barney Berentson, Clermont; Mrs. Jens Nyman, Cedar Falls; Elmer, Elgin; Nanfred, West Union; Clifford, Castalia; Tom, West Union; Mrs. Laurence Peterson, Postville; Harry, Seattle, Wash.; Russell, Clermont; Erwin, with the army in Louisiana, and Mrs. Orville Oyloe, Decorah. One daughter Lillian, died in infancy, and a son Oscar, died eight years ago. There are 23 grandchildren.

Other survivors include a brother John Osmundson, West Union , and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Evanson, Ossian.
