Funeral services were held for Mrs. Jessie Smith Forbes, who died at her home at Nashua Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock, after an illness of several months.

Mrs. Forbes was born at West Union June 14, 1869, and grew to womanhood there. In 1892 she was married to Dr. L. S. Forbes. They resided in Fayette for several years. Dr. Forbes being in partnership with Dr. J. M. Dorman in dentistry. In October, 1904, they moved to Nashua, which has since been their home.

Her husband, Dr. L. S. Forbes, two daughters, Miss Odette Forbes, and Mrs. W. H. Christenson of Nashua, and two sisters survive her.
